Update: GEDMatch Hacked… Down For Several Days

Verogen, the owner of GEDMatch, has released a statement explaining their shutdown of GEDMatch.com. Over the weekend, it was found that ALL users on GEDMatch were exposed for some three hours. They say that the raw DNA info was not compromised as it is encoded and then deleted immediately upon uploading. At the time of this posting, the site is still down and is expected to be for several days.
