Cold Case Investigators Seek ID Of 1978 Murder Victim Through DNA

Genetic material wasn’t of much use to investigators back in 1978. But today, preserved DNA from a murder from that year could prove to be the golden ticket in cracking the case. In Tennessee, authorities are asking the public to contribute to the cost of processing DNA from one of the oldest cases on their books.
