Smithsonian: Happy Pandemic Christmas– 1918

This obviously is not the first pandemic Christmas our country… indeed the world… has endured. And the desire of American’s to be with their families on Christmas Day 1918 was no different than this year. And that Christmas brought the added desire to celebrate the end of the Great War.
