Woman Finds WWII 97-Year-Old Pilot Whose Skills Saved Her Father… And Her!

Roger “Big” Sundin was an extraordinary pilot during World War II. When he had to ditch his plane in an emergency in 1945, he saved his entire crew. One of those crewmen went on to have six children, including Loretto Thompson, who learned about Big Sundin through her father’s World War II letters.
